About Sisyphos

Sisyphos is a local-first desktop app for the Mac. It watches your raw footage, finds the moments worth keeping, and explains each pick using what it measured on screen. Your video files stay on your Mac.

What it does

Sisyphos assembles a first cut from raw footage. For every clip it keeps or drops, it records a reason based on what it measured on screen and in the sound. That’s why it works on footage where nobody is talking: weddings, sports, GoPro, events. Sisyphos does the selects. The editor does the edit.

It runs on macOS and hands its picks to DaVinci Resolve Studio, or exports FCPXML and EDL for any other NLE.

Where it stands

Sisyphos is in development. No launch date has been announced yet. It will sell as a perpetual license: €129 at launch, €189 after that, with 12 months of updates included. The waitlist on the homepage hears first.
