GDPR Art. 13 — Privacy notice

Privacy

TODO before deployment: fill in the [CONTROLLER] placeholders (same identity as the Impressum), confirm the hosting provider section matches the real deploy (Cloudflare Pages), and update the waitlist section if a different provider than Buttondown is chosen.

The short version: this site is built to know as little about you as possible. No cookies, no trackers, no ad tech, self-hosted fonts. The product itself is local-first — your footage never reaches us.

What this website processes

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist, your email address is processed by our newsletter provider to send you product updates you asked for — legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email; unsubscribing deletes you from the list. The address is never sold or shared beyond the provider.

The product (Sisyphos app)

Sisyphos runs on your machine. Your video files, the analysis database, and every measurement stay local. We operate no cloud and receive no footage, no thumbnails, no telemetry.

The optional judgment step sends a small number of keyframe stills and measured signals to Google's Gemini API using your own API key — directly from your machine to Google, under your Google account and Google's data terms. Raw video is never transmitted, and the app enforces this on the file contents, not just file names.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at). Contact for all requests: [KONTAKT-E-MAIL].
